Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) is a valuable tool becoming more and more popular within web design. Its effective, exciting for users, and works well with responsive designs. The purpose of Ajax is to allow a web page to update without having to reload the page which speeds up your website and the browsing process for your visitors. Aware is a responsive portfolio WordPress theme with an Ajax homepage portfolio. The simple theme is great for personal and professional portfolios, and it makes a great first impression with smooth transitions between posts/items.

Yes, we know Soliloquy is not a theme. However, it is a super awesome plugin for WordPress and they recently added AJAX loading for the slides! This means you can now have super fast sliders on your site no matter how many slides you have. We just wanted to throw this plugin into the mix because it’s the best slider plugin for WordPress.
